Michael, a junior from Riverwoods, IL, is majoring in finance and mathematics with a minor in mathematical statistics. He is currently the committee head of the Industrials, Transportation, and Energy group. Michael spent his summer interning at Vulcan Value Partners on the equity research team. Next summer, Michael plans to work for Point72 as a part of their summer academy program. His dream job would be acting as a Portfolio Manager at a public equity hedge fund.

Asaf is a junior from Palo Alto, CA majoring in finance, economics, and psychology. He is also pursuing a minor through the Randall Research Scholars program. Asaf spent his summer working at PwC in their Technology Consulting practice. In his free time, Asaf enjoys weight lifting, swimming, and being an active member of the ZBT fraternity.
Connor Dessert

Originally from Moline, IL, Connor is a junior majoring in Mathematics, Economics, and Finance with a specialization in financial engineering. He has been a member of the I&E committee since joining CIMG. Connor spent a portion of his summer working with Alabama's value investing professor, John Heins, on a number of projects, and hopes to become an equity or fixed-income research analyst. A former member of Alabama's Track and Field team, he now spends his time training for triathlons.
Margot Dooley

Margot, a junior from Evanston, IL, is majoring in finance and economics. Before joining CIMG, Margot was a member of Capstone Asset Management society. Outside of Finance and Economics, Margot has dedicated her time to the athletics program as a Track & Field athlete. Margot spent her summer interning at First Midwest Bank- a regional bank in Chicago- working in both Commercial Banking and Capital Markets. She looks forward to either returning to First Midwest Bank or trying out another summer internship in another field. In her free time, Margot enjoys reading literary fiction and attempting to cook dishes that are far too advanced for her skill set (Beef Wellington is harder to prepare than first meets the eye).
Matthew DeBrunner

Matthew is a sophomore from Cincinnati, OH majoring in metallurgical and materials engineering with a minor in the Randall Research Scholars Program. He sits with the Industrials & Energy committee. This past summer he had the opportunity to intern with Veelo Technologies, a startup company based in Cincinnati. Matthew hopes to pursue a career in research and development engineering after graduation and one day found his own advanced materials company. In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading, biking and traveling to new places.
